Vice President Bob Barratt

Bob, by profession is a qualified accountant and was employed by various local authorities in the North-East for 43 years; two of those years were actually taken out for national service in the Army. He ended his local authority service in the employment of North Yorkshire County Council where for the last eight years of his service he was the Deputy County Treasurer.
He has always had an interest in music, being a pianist with once high flown ideas which did not work out and gradually graduated to the choral world where for almost 40 years directed choirs and musical groups including for two years a local amateur operatic society.
He is a Licentiate of the London College of Music and a Licentiate of Trinity College of Music London.
He has written and arranged music for choirs for many years and currently, in partnership with his son Peter, runs BaBa Productions which specialises in the sale of music for choirs and solo voice together with picture books and plays with music for children.
